At Leasowes, we are very lucky to have some of the largest sports facilities in the area. During your first PE lesson, we will meet in the sports hall where we have 6 badminton courts and 2 basketball courts. Once you are in your PE groups, you will have lessons in different places throughout the year. We often use our gymnasium for trampolining and table tennis lessons and next to that, we also have a fitness suite which has treadmills, spin bikes, rowers and weights. At the bottom of the PE corridor we have our astro turf which has four pitches. We use this a lot for football, handball and summer sports like rounders. Finally, we have our netball and tennis courts. In year 7, we cover a wide range of sporting activities, and you will have many opportunities to participate in a wide variety of extra-curricular clubs both recreationally and competitively.
