Invictus Schools @ RAF Cosford Glider Challenge 2019

22 OCTOBER 2019

On Tuesday 22 October 3 of our schools competed in RAF Cosford’s Glider Challenge 2019!

The event was a huge success, all participating students from Kinver High, Leasowes High School and Wombourne High School behaved and performed impeccably!

Kinver won the trophy for best pitch and presentation and Leasowes were crown 2019 champions!

Invictus Director of D&T, Stuart Chatterton, had entered Leasowes in the event previously winning the event twice before. Mr Chatterton was very impressed with the standard of STEM talent across the Trust and wanted to thank D&T staff for supporting the event and helping our students enjoy another unique opportunity and elite experience.

Everyday, in every way our students come first.

There is a full gallery from the day available on the Invictus Facebook Page and a highlights reel on our YouTube channel
